In 1825, the French company FICHE-BAUCHE was established, and these manufacturers subsequently began to manufacture safe deposit boxs. In the late 18th century, Carron Co. in Scotland and Coalbrookdale in England began manufacturing cast iron boxes and bookcases. This is the beginning of the metal safe deposit box, but it basically follows the wood mortise technique or integral casting, which is similar to the furniture of the time in terms of appearance and craftsmanship, and the precision of the lock is very low.
